A PRACTICE OF ATTENTION

Better questions
make better thinking.

Good thinking rarely begins with having the perfect answer. It begins by noticing the question underneath the question. What are we trying to understand? Which assumptions are quietly shaping our view? What evidence would change our mind?

These small pauses matter. They help separate what we know from what we assume, what is important from what is merely urgent, and what deserves our attention from what simply demands it.

Three questions worth keeping

  • What do I know—and how do I know it?
  • What am I assuming without noticing?
  • What would I need to learn to see this differently?

Thinking clearly is not about questioning everything endlessly. It is about making enough room to choose your next thought deliberately.
